Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A and Demand Planning
As a Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Director of Finance, you will play a crucial role on our Finance team. You will assist in developing accurate financial forecasts, managing budgeting processes, and analyzing demand trends to support strategic decision-making. Your insights will help drive financial performance and support our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary inputs for accurate forecasting.
FP&A:
- Support the annual budgeting process, including data collection, analysis, and consolidation of departmental budgets.
- Monitor budget performance and variances, providing actionable insights to management.
- Analyze financial results and prepare reports for management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all financial reports and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial presentations for stakeholders.
Demand Planning:
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to analyze demand patterns and forecast inventory needs for both evergreen and innovation items.
- Develop and maintain demand planning models to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand.
Ad-hoc Projects:
- Participate in various financial projects and initiatives as needed to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A (experience in demand planning specifically not required, but a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
